After having been here for three years, I have been very happy working in an academy such as this. A small family orientated based in the heart of Seville, whose mission is to give as much support to its students and teachers as possible.

Teachers are contracted to do up to 25 hours contact week and anything extra you get paid for, not like a lot of other schools where you can be contracted to work up to 30 hours. During my time here, I have found that any suggestions that can be made to help the running of the school and its courses are always appreciated.

You get a chance to work with young learners and teenagers, which are the majority of our students and also adults which is great to mix things up instead of just teaching one type of level. Meetings are held weekly and general meetings fortnightly which are quite useful for sharing ideas and learning new things to make life easier for everybody.

One thing that I have to point however is that the first trimester can be a bit overwhelming as there´s the paper work to get used to and so much information to take in. We also have a database/email sytem to control the students' progress and communicate with the bosses and work mates which can take a while to get used to but all this disappears in the second trimester and you realise it to be a helpful tool.

I´ve also had the chance to move upwards to become the school´s coordinator in which I have gained further experience in the TEFL world asides from being just a teacher.

So if you´re a teacher, who enjoys working with kids and teenagers, appreciates support from their peers and cares about learning then I highly recommend this school to work in.
